About / The imprint

One house.
Many voices.

Richner Records is an independent New York record label and publishing platform documenting music, visual culture and emerging artists through original journalism, criticism and photography.

Founded by artist and photographer John Richner, the company also oversees independent production and artist development. Working as XIMERMJ, Richner released the five-track conceptual EP Trivial Truths in 2025, alongside the genre-blurring singles Warped, Frequencies, Surging and Headway. Founder information appears here as context—not as the publication's sole subject.
